A 21-year-old man was arrested in Cortland on Monday in connection with a 2024 homicide in Scranton.
After being on the run for 19 months, Malachi A. Darden was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice and resisting arrest.
Darden was wanted on a warrant out of Scranton for the charges of criminal homicide, murder and non-negligent manslaughter.
According to police, Darden is connected to a homicide that left a man dead on the 1800 block of Jackson Street in Scranton on May 14, 2024.
