Bradford County Commissioner Zachary Gates will be hosting three town halls next week.
The goal of these town halls will be to allow residents to provide their input on issues affecting the county, opportunities of interest for public officials and areas for improvement or recognition.
The first session will be held on Sunday, Dec. 7 at the Wysox Volunteer Fire Company building, located at 111 Lake Road in Wysox. The town hall will be held from 2 to 5 pm.
The second will be held from 6:30 to 9 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at the Troy Fire Department, located on Firehouse Drive.
The third and final town hall will take place from 6:30 to 9 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at The Grille at The Train Station, located at 718 N. Lehigh Ave in Sayre.
Commissioner Gates explained: “As we approach the start of a new year, I’m interested in hearing from residents what their priorities are for the county. I’m also looking forward to the chance to address some areas of concern and share some information that may be helpful to county residents.”
Continued Gates: “Meeting with the people that the Commissioners were elected to serve is an important civic function that I take seriously. While the Commissioners speak with constituents every day, larger gatherings like this afford unique environments for more engaging dialogue. If these sessions are received well, I hope to be able to offer more such gatherings elsewhere in Bradford County in the coming months.”
