BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. — A Rome man has been arrested on more than 100 charges following an investigation into alleged sexual abuse involving two minors.
Pennsylvania State Police say 58-year-old Joseph E. Zenewicz III faces numerous felony charges, including rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, promoting prostitution of a minor, and multiple counts related to child sexual abuse materials.
Investigators say the case began after reports from two victims and a parent regarding incidents that occurred between September 2024 and May 2025. Authorities allege the abuse involved both inappropriate touching and sexual intercourse.
According to investigators, one victim reported a single incident, while the other described repeated abuse over an extended period. Authorities also allege the suspect provided marijuana, money, and other items to one of the victims in exchange for sexual acts.
Officials say the suspect also contacted one of the victims in violation of a protection order. During the investigation, law enforcement seized a phone and later discovered child sexual abuse materials.
Following the investigation, Zenewicz was charged on March 6 and remanded to the Bradford County Jail without bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on March 24.
