A bridge in Wyalusing is closed until further notice after it was struck by a tractor trailer carrying an excavator on Tuesday night.
According to the Bradford County Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred at around 5:22 p.m. on the Rainbow Bridge on Wyalusing New Albany Road.
The top of the excavator struck the bridge, which carries traffic over the Susquehanna River in Wyalusing.
A PennDOT inspection team is expected to evaluate the integrity of the bridge on Wednesday.
It is unclear how long the bridge will be closed to traffic.
