An Ithaca man has pleaded guilty to multiple charges in connection with a fatal car accident last year.
According to the Schuyler County District Attorney’s Office, 18-year-old Michael A. Blake, Jr. pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter in the second degree and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
Blake was the driver in the fatal accident that claimed the life of 17-year-old Trumansburg resident Marcus Knight in the Town of Hector on Sept. 29, 2025.
During his plea, Blake admitted to consuming drugs and alcohol before driving at the time of the incident.
Blake is scheduled to be sentenced on July 30.
