A Southport man has been found guilty of sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl.
Lawrence Cook, 47, was accused of having sexual contact with the girl in the fall of 2009. Cook was also found guilty on one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
Cook still has two pending indictments against him, including one for possession of child pornography images.
