The New York State Police is investigating a robbery at the J.C. Penney Department Store in the South Side Mall in Oneonta Saturday night.
A white male forcibly took an undisclosed amount of cash from a cash register in the store.
He then exited the store on foot in an easterly direction.
No weapons were displayed and there were no injuries.
The man is described as approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 165 pounds with dark blonde hair.
He was wearing dark jeans, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with red clothing underneath, and white sneakers.
