Binghamton City Mayor Rich David was a guest at the White House yesterday. David met with First Lady Michelle Obama after Binghamton officially became the first city in the U.S. to end veteran homelessness. This accomplishment directly achieves a challenge laid out by Michelle Obama in November of 2014. It was two years ago that the First Lady challenged local and state leaders across the country to do what they could to end the homelessness of our veterans.
