A Montrose man remains at large after he allegedly stabbed a woman multiple times with a flat-head screwdriver on Tuesday. Pennsylvania State Police are searching for 44-year-old Howard Walter. Police say that Walter was driving on Ruger Hollow Road when he and a 39-year-old woman began arguing. The argument became physical and Walter allegedly stabbed the woman multiple times with the screwdriver. She was able to escape the vehicle and run to a nearby home for help. Police have issued an active warrant for Walter’s arrest. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
