26 people were taken to the hospital following an overnight crash involving a tour bus, tractor trailer and passenger car on Interstate 81 South in Nedrow. The Onondaga County Undersheriff says shortly before 2:30 a.m., a car headed south on 81 lost control, hitting a guardrail. An oncoming tractor trailer pulled over after spotting the crash, however a Pine Hill Trailways tour bus was unable to avoid a collision, striking the vehicle on its side. The impact caused the car to flip and the bus to veer off to the side of the road, hitting the rear end of the tractor trailer. 54 people were involved in the crash, 26 were transported to four area hospitals. No one suffered life threatening injuries.
