The former treasurer of the Wyalusing Area Education Foundation is facing charges for allegedly stealing funds from the organization.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 49-year-old Kelly M. White was charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking and 14 counts of forgery, which are second-degree felonies.
She was also charged with 114 counts of access device fraud for using the foundation’s debit card for personal use.
White is accused of stealing approximately $123,000 from the foundation between Jan. 1, 2019 and Feb. 4, 2026.
She was arraigned last week and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
