CHOW and the United Way of Broome County are teaming up to help provide groceries to the residents of Binghamton’s North Side with a mobile grocery store this summer. The area has been without a store for many years, so CHOW and the United Way decided to bring one in on wheels. The fully-refrigerated bus will include everything from canned goods to meats and dairy products. Everything on the bus will be priced between $1 and $3, and they will also offer fresh fruits and vegetables to North Side residents. The bus will begin serving the community June 30.
