A Broome County Jury returned a guilty verdict Thursday against a Tioga County man on a charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon. 35-year old Theodore R. Cooper of Nichols faces up to fifteen years in prison. Cooper was arrested by Endicott Police on July 4, 2017, when he was found with a .380 caliber handgun. Prosecutor Kevin Cheung proved Cooper knowingly possessed the loaded handgun. Sentencing is set for September 27.
