Jury deliberations will continue today in Broome County Court in the attempted murder trial of a man in connection with a shooting in West Corners last year. 35-year old Paul Warner is charged with attempting to kill 50-year old Timothy Mancini during a confrontation in West Corners last September. The jury was unable to read verdict on Friday after deliberating for several hours. Prosecutors said Warner and Mancini had bad blood between them after Mancini was voted out of a motorcycle club. Police said a nasty confrontation put Mancini in the hospital for a week after Warner is alleged to have fired 50 pellets at him and his dog. Warner testified at the trial that he thought Mancini himself was going for a gun in the afternoon shooting. A surveillance camera recorded the entire episode. The attempted murder charge carries a penalty of up to 25 years in state prison.
