A mobile home was destroyed by fire this morning, according to the Weltonville Fire Department. Firefighters responded just before 8 a.m. to 4510 West Creek Road for a report of a fully involved structure fire. According to Weltonville Assistant Chief John Wahl, the fire was in the back half of the home. Everyone who lives in the home made it out safely. Fire departments from Candor, Newark Valley, Campville and Owego were among the crews that responded in mutual aid. Tioga County fire investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
