An Athens man is behind bars for sex crimes following an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police.
According to police, 34-year-old Casey Ryan Seymour has been charged with 10 counts of possession of child sex abuse material, three counts of disseminating child sex abuse material and one count of criminal use of a communication device.
The investigation began after the state police was contacted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
As a previously convicted sex offender, Seymour is required to notify police of any accounts he has online.
Seymour allegedly possessed more than 100 videos and photos that depicted both male and female minors in explicit circumstances.
He was remanded on $300,00 bail.
