The Chemung County Health Department will offer free vaccinations during the Southern Tier Healthcare Expo in Elmira on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Free flu shots will be available for adults age 18 and older. The department will also offer the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, commonly called the MMR vaccine, for people of all ages.
The expo is scheduled from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the LECOM Event Center on the Williams Toyota Turf Field in Elmira. Insurance will not be collected for the vaccines offered at the event.
Advance registration is encouraged. The county’s announcement identifies the clinic as part of the Southern Tier Healthcare Expo and gives residents a no-cost opportunity to receive the listed vaccinations during the five-hour event.
