The team that knocked off the OFA ladies in the STAC playoffs went on to win the Section IV Class AA championship, as Horseheads defeated Union-Endicott 62-25 Thursday night at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. Horseheads improved to 16-3 on the season, and is now just three victories from a state title. They will next be hosting either the Section 1 or Section 9 champion in the state quarterfinals on March 8th at the Binghamton University Events Center.
