The Owego Elks Lodge will host its annual Hoop Shoot next weekend.
The hoop shoot will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club. The shoot will start at noon.
The Elks Hoop Shoot is free and is for kids ages 8-13. Kids must be at least 8 years old and no older than 13 as of April 1, 2026 in order to participate.
Winners will advance through the local contest, Districts, States, and Regionals to the National Finals in Chicago. Six National Champions will have their names on a digital display at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.
The Elks will cover travel costs through each level.
