An 8-year-old Nichols boy is heading across the country to compete in a motocross competition.
Marcus Cole has been accepted to compete in the KTM Racing Team Juniors Supercross, which is part of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross.
The Tioga Central Elementary School student has been competing in motocross for three years.
He will now get a chance to compete against riders from across the country on a professional supercross track.
The competition will take place Jan. 17 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California.
