One dead, one injured following motorcycle accident in Bradford County

One person was killed and another injured in a two-motorcycle crash in Bradford County last week.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the accident occurred just after 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18 on Route 409 in Wyalusing Township.

Two motorcycles were traveling north when a deer entered the roadway in front of the lead bike and caused the crash.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other person was flown to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre with serious injuries.

The name of the victim has not been released.

The accident remains under investigation.
