Volunteers are wanted to help place American flags at the Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira ahead of Memorial Day.
American flags will be placed in front of each gravestone in the cemetery.
Volunteers are asked to come to the cemetery starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 22.
More than 8,000 flags will be placed throughout the property.
A service will be held at noon on Memorial Day after the Elmira Memorial Day Parade, which ends at the cemetery.
