The 90-year-old female victim in a sexual assault last week in Corning has died.
According to Corning police, the woman was allegedly attacked and raped by 29-year-old Jonathan A. Rivaldo earlier this month.
He was previously charged with three counts of rape in the first degree and one count of burglary in the first degree, both Class B felonies, and misdemeanor counts of tampering with physical evidence and intimidating a victim.
Rivaldo was remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
