A man on parole was arrested for possessing suspected fentanyl in Steuben County.
According to the Village of Bath Police Department, 34-year-old Coty J. Murphy was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, which is a Class D felony.
The arrest stems from a compliance check on Tuesday, June 23rd. Murphy was allegedly found with a large quantity of suspected fentanyl at the Finger Lakes Inn.
Murphy was remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
