Emergency crews responded to a house fire early this morning. The fire took place at 19 Newton Avenue in Binghamton around 3:15 this morning. Binghamton Fire and Superior Ambulance responded to the two-story home. According to the Binghamton Fire Department, the flames were extinguished within fifteen minutes. One person was living in the home and was able to escape safely. No injuries were reported. Binghamton Fire is investigating what caused the flames.
