After a long winter, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is once again open to the public. The zoo opened for its 139th season Saturday morning with some new attractions. They now have three new red wolves, which are an endangered species. Zoo officials also say new river otters were born. The animals will be viewable by the public in the next couple of months. The zoo’s grand opening will be April 19th with Eggstravaganza, a large Easter-egg hunt put on by the zoo every year. After that, the zoo will remain open 7-days a week for the season.
