The weather cleared up in time for an annual festival in Binghamton. St. Cyril Church served up around 12,000 halupkis Sunday. Organizers said it took more than 30 volunteers and weeks of preparation so the community could enjoy the traditional cabbage dish. Folks also got to enjoy a variety of ethnic foods, raffles, music and more. And with hungry crowds numbering in the thousands, volunteers said the church was running a bit low on halupkis Sunday evening. All proceeds benefit the church. They hope to raise $20,000.
