After over an hour-long standoff on Main Street in Johnson City, police have led a man away in handcuffs at about 7am this morning. The standoff occurred at 19 Main Street in Johnson City. Johnson City Police Chief Brent Dodge says that both a woman and 2-year-old child were in the home with the suspect. Residents in homes around the standoff were evacuated. Both the Binghamton and Johnson City SWAT teams responded. No one was reported injured as a result of the incident. Authorities have not released information on the suspect.
