Broome County Sheriff’s arrested a man after he was found to be in possession of a stolen car and credit card. 33-year-old Anthony Vertuli of Willet, New York was arrested on Monday, after a police investigation used video surveillance from businesses in the Westover area to capture Vertuli in possession of property reported stolen earlier this month from Lower Stella Ireland Road. Vertuli was arraigned in the Town of Union Court on charges of grand larceny in the fourth degree, possession of stolen property in the third degree, and forgery in the second degree, all felonies. He was sent to the Broome County Jail.
