The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as it investigates a string of thefts from motor vehicles. Deputies said suspects have been entering unlocked cars in the Chenango Bridge and Hillcrest areas over the past 10 days and stealing a variety of items. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (607) 778-2990 and ask to speak to Detective Sergeant Cower.
