A multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 88 this morning sent two people to the hospital. According to the Hillcrest Fire Department, the accident took place around 5:45 in the Town of Fenton between Exit 1 and Exit 2. Three people were involved in the crash, in three separate vehicles. The two people sent to the hospital suffered minor injuries. The fire department had to temporarily close the section of the highway while cleanup took place. The Broome County Sheriff’s Office and Chenango Bridge Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
