The brand new FedEx Freight Service Center is now open in Lounsberry. Congressman Tom Reed and other elected officials cut the ribbon yesterday at the location on Buck Road, which is just off Stanton Hill Road near the Best Buy Distribution Center. The new FedEx location employs 43 workers who worked at the previous center in Kirkwood. The new 52-door facility is nearly double the size of the structure in Kirkwood and will serve an area from Hammondsport to Norwich.
