The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office released information yesterday about a violent one-car rollover and ejection that happened in Newark Valley on June 16th. Just before 1 o’clock that Sunday morning, police say 23-year-old Nicole Williamson of Berkshire traveled southbound on Shirley Road at an unsafe speed, exited the eastern shoulder, struck a guard rail, a telephone guide wire, and then overturned into a creek. While the vehicle overturned, Williamson was ejected from the driver’s side window. She sustained a broken back, and has been charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, and speed not reasonable and prudent.
