Owego Police have one man in custody, charged with arson, after a Sunday afternoon shed fire in the village. The Owego Fire Department responded to 255 Front Street in the village around 12:35 pm. Authorities said the “ice house”–a building used for storage, located behind Rehabilitation Support Services–was intentionally set on fire and caused extensive damage. Police say 21-year-old Brian Dornblaser of Owego is charged with arson in the third degree. Dornblaser was arraigned in the Town of Owego Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.The Owego Fire Department, was assisted by the Tioga County Fire Investigation Team, OPD, and the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department.
