Another theft of thousands from a youth sports league has been reported by police. According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old Eileen Bundy of Owego is being charged with grand larceny after she is accused of stealing between $21,000 and $74,000 from the Apalachin Youth Football League. Bundy is a former treasurer for the league, and the money had allegedly been stolen since January of 2011. The league first discovered the money had gone missing in November and an investigation has been underway ever since. Bundy is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
