The Family Resource Center of Tioga County is set to host their 3rd Annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday. For the past three years, families have been invited to check out a variety of unique vehicles parked at the Tioga County Health and Human Services building. Event coordinator Donna Gibson visited the WEBO Morning Show today to discuss this weekend’s event, where she mentioned what types of vehicles will be featured, including fire trucks and the Tioga County Sheriff’s Hummer. Anyone with a truck or vehicle of their choice they’d like to show at the event can bring it to the Tioga County Health and Human Services building, and the event starts at 9 AM and runs through 1 o’clock in the afternoon. The cost of admission is $20 per family, or $5 per person, with children under 2 free of charge. The money raised at tomorrow’s Touch-a-Truck event will go toward the Family Resource Center, a branch of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County.
