An Owego-Apalachin School District bus rolled over on Saturday while transporting OFA’s volleyball team to a tournament north of Albany. The accident occurred at about 7:30am on Saturday near Oneonta. There were ten athletes, two coaches, and the bus driver on board. All 13 were taken to A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta for evaluation and treatment of minor injuries. All 13 were released later that day. Yesterday, members of the volleyball team also underwent treatment with the district’s athletic trainer. The bus driver has been cited for moving from a lane unsafely. The investigation is ongoing.
