The Owego-Apalachin School District is now accepting applications for their Universal Pre-K program for next school year. UPK is aimed at helping 4-year-old children prepare to enter kindergarten. It is open to any child who lives in the district and turns 4 on or before December 1, 2017. Most students will attend UPK at the same building where they will attend kindergarten the following year. Applications are now available on the school district’s website, www.oacsd.org. A lottery will be held in April to choose the students for next year’s UPK program.
