Campbell man found guilty of selling meth

A Campbell man was found guilty of selling meth in Steuben County Court last week.

According to the Steuben County District Attorney’s Office, 57-year-old Terry L. Champion was convicted of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, both Class B felonies.

Champion was charged with the crimes after he sold more than seven grams of meth to a Steuben County Sheriff’s Office information in May of 2024.

The incident was investigated by the sheriff’s office and Bath Police Department.

Champion will face up to nine years in prison when he is sentenced on April 25.
