An Elmira man was injured in a shooting in Rochester in the early morning hours on Monday.
According to the Rochester Police Department, a man in his 30s was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound. He is expected to survive.
The shooting is believed to have taken place in the area of Lake Avenue and Driving Park Avenue in Rochester.
No arrests have been made in the incident.
The shooting is under investigation.
