A man is currently behind bars for allegedly raping a Corning woman.
According to Corning Police, 29-year-old Jonathan Rivaldo has been charged with three counts of rape in the first degree and one count of burglary in the first degree, both Class B felonies.
He was also charged with tampering with physical evidence and intimidating a victim.
According to WENY-TV, Rivaldo was just released from state prison on Friday after completing a four-year sentence for attempted aggravated vehicular assault. He was not on parole due to maxing out his sentence.
Rivaldo was remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
