Chemung County Executive Chris Moss has announced he will continue his bid for a third term in office.
Moss lost the Republican primary last month to current Chemung County Legislative Chairman Mark Margeson.
However, Moss won the primary for the Conservative Party and has decided to continue to the general election.
Moss said in a statement that he is proud of the progress Chemung County has made and he believes there is more work to be done.
The general election is set for Nov. 3.
