A Steuben County man has been arrested on child sex abuse charges following an investigation by the New York State Police.
According to police, 37-year-old Campbell resident David J. Brooker has been charged with sexual abuse in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Brooker has been accused of engaging in inappropriate sexual contact with a child under the age of 11.
State troopers were assisted by Steuben County Child Protective Services and the Child Advocacy Center.
The investigation into the alleged incidents is ongoing.
