A new ice cream spot has opened in downtown Elmira.
The Sweet Spot is now open at 3 Clemens Square and features a variety of options including ice cream, cookies, milkshakes and more.
A Chemung County Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting was held on Saturday.
The Sweet Spot is open Wednesday through Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m.
